I'd like to remind everyone about the exhibition at this year's ISWC in San Francisco. If you have a great wearable product or research project, you should think about exhibiting it during the conference. See the details below. I'm also looking for suggestions about which companies we should invite to participate. Which hardware or software vendors would you like to see and talk to at the conference? Drop me a note at mailto:if you have any suggestions. -Gerd University of Oregon
--------------------------------------------------------- Invitation to Participate in the Exhibition at the International Symposium on Wearable Computing (ISWC), October 18-19, 1999, in San Francisco. Wearable computing is beginning to move out of research labs into the real world. As the number of real world applications of wearable technology increases, there is a growing number of manufacturers of wearable hardware and software solutions. Every year, the International Symposium on Wearable Computing attracts a large number of journalists. The ISWC exhibition is thus a great opportunity for companies and researchers to showcase their products and research projects to a larger audience and gain exposure. We would like to invite hardware and software vendors, solution providers and researchers to exhibit their wearable products, services and research projects during this year's symposium in San Francisco. To apply to become an exhibitor, please do the following: Write a summary of the product, service, or research project that you would like to exhibit. Describe why it will interest the conference attendees. The summary should not exceed 500 words (one page) in length. Be sure to include in the summary the exhibitor names, affiliations, addresses, telephone numbers, electronic mail addresses, and World Wide Web page location. Also, identify the contact person for the exhibition. The exhibit summary should be e-mailed to Zary Segall mailto:
