Someone asked me for information about the Ericsson Bluetooth development kit. Here's some more info: from www.stickandcarrot.com Ericsson Launches first Bluetooth Development Kit Ericsson has announced that the first Bluetooth Development Kit is on the market. This enables early adapters of the Bluetooth technology to shorten development time and lower the cost in developing Bluetooth applications. Ericsson has from the beginning of the Bluetooth initiative, made sure that Bluetooth specifications are accessible for everyone. Their new `toolbox' comes with two development boards (circuit boards), making it possible for effective testing. "Engineers can construct hardware, in line with their company's existing products, to attach the development boards from which they can develop the new Bluetooth-enabled software to implement into their product range", writes Ericsson in a press memo. The Ericsson Bluetooth Development Kit costs 9.000, and so far more than 100 companies have signed up to purchase their toolbox.
