> Suggestion: adjustable focus--or is it too expensive, bulky? It really depends on who you talk to. An adjustable focus mechanism can be sleek, inexpensive, and lightweight. It all depends on who is paying for the engineering. People have been talking about setting up a buying group for HMDs. If someone can organize one that will purchase, say 500 units, we'll build that product. The group can decide the specifications, ergonomics, interface, etc... We will take your specs and make an HMD based on your firm commitment to buy the entire lot. (500 units is only used as an example. There are 3 variables in the development equation: Quantity, Quality(specifications), and Price - the buying group picks 2 of them and the manufacturer sets the 3rd.) If anyone is willing to rise to the occasion, drop me a line and lets get started. - Tony -- Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with subject of "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" toWear-Hard Mailing List Archive (searchable): http://wearables.blu.org
