But, I would argue that the biggest problem is cheap omnipresent network access. But this is just because of my personal preference for applications being mostly email, web, chat, muck/mud and sound streams. I would imagine it depends on what you need/want a wearble for that determines what minimum requirements you have for components. And personally, the M1 is great for text based or limited graphics based GUI apps, but for web browsing 320x240 is quite difficult to work with.
