Hi everyone. Here is my 2 cents worth. If I was creating a HMD right now, I'd aim squarely at the desktop users. The tiny cables everyone (not just wearable users) want would end in an adapter for a desktop unit. I'd market it as a way to get back desktop space. I suspect that the Japanese market would be very fertile on this score. Further, I suspect many corporations would love it because they are still very crowded for space. I'd also mention that the user also gets back some privacy where others can not simply walk up and look over your shoulder. Obviously, the adapter I mentioned before will help wanna-be wearable users get started with desktop and laptop units and the manufacturer can survey the purchasers (with the warranty registration?) as to their desire to "go wearable". Then they can gauge that unknown market better. regards Tim Miner -- Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with subject of "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" toWear-Hard Mailing List Archive (searchable): http://wearables.blu.org
