This is a good point - why not make simple, cheap remote-presence bots,
and use them to 'do' things, recording and/or transmitting the experience
to the 'brains' residing in safe places (orbit, the Moon, etc)?

A bonus is that you could 'buy' a copy for semi-vicarious thrills, and not
even need the bot to still exist.
