Look out ... I think the M1 might have some competition... If that thing
can directly drive a kopin display then think of this. The UCSimm
already has display handling built in. It has the capability of text and
graphics plus with 10Base it has a fast and potentially long distance
connection.

Computer with network card

	| |
	10 bt wire
	| |
	| |
UcSimm running as a vnc client from the computer
	| |
	| |
	320x200 display

$175 + kopin display ($75 last time I heard) + 45 cents of network cable
= base HMD

VNC clients are already in place for the palmpilot so it should be
feasible to compile under uclinux and go for it.

Total HMD plus some spare CPU you could run PVM on for only $250

Am I missing something here or are we about to have a rush buy?  :)

PS Is that the latest price for the Kopin panel+optics? or am I way off
in my memory?
