Video Protocols

I'm thinking about taking apart an old Mac Plus to make a slightly ghetto
wearable until I can get some money to get some PC/104 boards, and I was
wondering if anyone knew what the video protocol (I don't know if that's the
right term - I'm pretty new to the whole hardware/electronics thing - I mean
like NTSC or VGA or whatever) the Mac Plus uses. Also, I was thinking of
using a gameboy display as the display (if not I'll probably get a camcorder
eyepiece, but I'd prefer to use crap I already have..), so if anyone has any
info. on that, also, I'd appreciate it. If no one knows, is there a way to
tell? Maybe by opening it up or checking the Mac's system stats or
something? Also, might anyone know if it'd be possible to install Linux on
such an old Mac? Any info would be appreciated, thanks.
