The only problem I see is: Is it possible to get a small electromotor up to 1500 cycles per second? I've done some calculations: If the screen resolution is to be 160x120, at a 25 Hz refreshing rate, you'd need 120 * 25 = 3000 (180000 RPM) rotations a second. You could half this by having a two-sided mirror, but it would still have to rotate 1500 times a second (90000 RPM).
