As long as our motives are clear, here is another alternative: Keep
any sensitive or mission critical data on pugillares - the original
fist size PDA.  This would also safegard agenst Y2K problems and many
"acts of god". (After
all they survived Y1K, Y0K and a variety of hisoric floods and volcanos with ease!)
