Friends, For many of you, this message is just noise and for that I apologize. However, for those of you that I have had the great pleasure of meeting at the various conferences, trade shows, or simply from normal business dealings with ViA, I felt that this was the most efficient means of letting you know that my contact information will soon be changing. I have accepted a position as a Professor in the Computer & Information Sciences Departement at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Over the next 60 days, I will be working to transition my responsibilities at ViA. I will then take some time off for the holidays before beginning by duties at Minnesota State University in January. If you should attend the upcoming IEEE Wearables Conference or you will be at Fall Comdex, please be sure to stop by ViA's booth and say hello. Perhaps by then I will know by e-mail address, telephone number, and mailing address at MSU. If not, I'd be happy to provide you with my home address and telephone number. Of course, my IEEE e-mail address will remain active. In the meantime, I certainly hope to stay very active in the emerging world of wearable computing. I intend to work hard to initiate an active wearables research group at MSU.
