Yeah, I'm really glad there's a discussion group for people like us.

Well, I'd have to take a bus to one of the cities in my region to do
that. And I don't have a radio, but that operator was actually my
computer class teacher at lower secondary school. He's a very nice
guy, maybe he knows of some place I can get parts.

MINIMAL SYSTEM:

Input:
  Home-made handheld chording keyboard, connected to the parallel
  port.

Output:
  Flippable Laptop-LCD mounted on chest, or tiny display on wrist.

Function:
  Memory assistant, a PC you don't need to sit down to use.

CPU:
  386SX 25-33MHz at minimum, 486DX 66-100MHz is just right.

RAM:
  4-8 MB at minimum, 8-16 MB is just right.

Storage:
  200-300 MB.

Uptime:
  6 hours (the length of a day at school).

Weight:
  Uh...not too heavy. The weight of a laptop from 198x (a few kilos).
