This lets the calendar scroll itself instead of just scrolling around in a generic text buffer. That and it just looks nice, you dont have to bother with seeing only 1 month and sun, mon, and tues of the next. This could also be extended to support different callender layouts. It does 1x1, 2x1, 3x1 now for month layout, that could be extended to 2x1, 2x2, 3x2, etc. -- Kent Lyons
